The Rapture and End Time Prophecies
Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21: 36
Is Jesus God - Visions of the Prophets.
Isaiah’s vision:

There’s more. Let’s compare what Isaiah saw to what John saw.

Isaiah 6: 1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

Here, Lord, Hebrew Strongs H136, 'ădônây ad-o-noy' An emphatic form of H113; the Lord (used as a proper name of God only): - (my) Lord.

2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. 5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.” .. 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

With verse 5 Isaiah said he saw the King, the LORD Almighty. Look at what were told of Jesus with Revelation 19 verse 16, On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.

Verse 3 and 5, LORD Almighty, Hebrew Strongs H3068, yehoÌ‚vaÌ‚h yeh-ho-vaw' From H1961; (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God: - Jehovah, the Lord. .. We see with verse 1 and 8 that the word Lord used is, Lord, Hebrew Strongs H136, 'ădoÌ‚naÌ‚y ad-o-noy' An emphatic form of H113; the Lord (used as a proper name of God only): - (my) Lord. With verse 3 and 5 the word used is, yehoÌ‚vaÌ‚h yeh-ho-vaw', Jewish national name of God, with verse 1 and 8 the word used is, 'ădoÌ‚naÌ‚y ad-o-noy', a proper name of God only. We see here there are two names of God. Two separate words, two separate names used for the One God. What most overlook, with verse 8 it says, who will go for ‘us’. Here again, we see the Father and the Son. Yet, there is only One God. We see this also with,

Psalm 110: 1 The LORD says to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”
5 The Lord is at your right hand;
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth
Hebrews with chapter one was referring back to verse one. Verses 5 and 6 is what we are told Jesus is going to do with his 2nd coming. Here Lord sounds like it is referring to the Son, to Jesus, and LORD, Jehovah, is referring to the Father. But we’ve been seeing that the descriptions of Jesus have been the same as those of Jehovah. Here again, we see the Father and the Son. Yet, there is only One God.

John 10:30 I and the Father are one.

1 John 5: 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Let’s keep comparing.

Isaiah 6: 9 He said, “Go and tell this people:
“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’
10 Make the heart of this people calloused;
make their ears dull and close their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears, understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”
Compare verse 9 & 10 with what we are told from John chapter 12 verse 40 & 41. We’re told Isaiah saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about Jesus.
John 12: 37 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:

“Lord, who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39 For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:
40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them.”
41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.

Compare Isa. 6: 2 & 3 with Rev. 4: 6-11. Isaiah didn’t say how many seraphim, each with six wings there were. Isaiah and John saw the same thing. Isaiah said, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; John with Rev. 4 verse 2 said,
2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.

Isa. 6: 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”

Rev. 4: 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, “who was, and is, and is to come.”

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

We’ve just read that Jesus is the one who lives for ever and ever, who was, and is, and is to come and that Jesus created all things. From the comparison, Isaiah and John were seeing the same seraphim, the same living creatures. In both cases they were saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty. We see the 24 elders call Jesus their Lord and God. All throughout the Bible we see the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Keep reading, we’re going to get to the Holy Spirit.
Ezekiel’s vision:
Look at Ezekiel’s description and compare it to Isaiah’s and John’s in Revelation. Ezekiel said he saw and heard the LORD. John said he saw and heard Jesus. We see that Isaiah, Ezekiel and John saw the same Throne and living creatures. They all three saw Jesus. We just read what John said, chapter 12, 41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.

Ez. 1: 1In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

2 On the fifth of the month—it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin— 3 the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, by the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians. There the hand of the Lord was on him.

4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, 5 and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human, 6 but each of them had four faces and four wings. 7 Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four of them had faces and wings, 9 and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.

10 Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle. 11 Such were their faces. They each had two wings spreading out upward, each wing touching that of the creature on either side; and each had two other wings covering its body.

Daniel’s vision:

Look at John’s description of Jesus in the first chapter of Revelation and compare it with Daniel’s in chapter 7 of the Ancient of Days.

Rev.1: 12I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man," dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.

14His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

Dan. 7: 9 "As I looked,
"thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire,
and its wheels were all ablaze.
10 A river of fire was flowing,
coming out from before him.
Remember, we just read from Isaiah chapter 43 and Micah chapter 5,
Isa. 43: 10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD,
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.
11 I, even I, am the LORD,
and apart from me there is no savior.
12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—
I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God.
13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he.
Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose (origins are from of old, from ancient times).”
John 12: 44 Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. 45 The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me.
I’ll say it again, from what we are reading from the scriptures, Jesus is Jehovah, Jesus is from the, ancient days, from ancient times. But we see that there is the Father and the Son.
Take a look at this.
Daniel 7: 9 “As I looked, “thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.

From John we see this is a description of Jesus. John saw his clothes and hair was as white as snow. Here Jesus is being referred to as the Ancient of Days. We’ve already seen from the scriptures Jesus is Jehovah. But look at what we read from verses 13 and 14.

Daniel 7: 13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Here we see the son of man approaching the Ancient of Days. We know Jesus is referred to as the son of man. We see from the scriptures that all of these other descriptions are of Jesus. We’ve seen that Jesus is Jehovah. Comparing John’s description of Jesus with verse 9, Jesus is the Ancient of Days. But with verse 13 we see Jesus, the son of man approaching the Ancient of Days. Here again, we see the Father and the Son. Yet, there is only One God. We’ll get into this more with our look at the Holy Spirit.

With Revelation chapter 19 we read of Jesus,

Rev. 19: 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.

We see here his name is king of kings and lord of lords. So, Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. But take a look at what this says.

1 Timothy 6: 13 In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you 14 to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.
Here we’re told that God, the Father, is King of kings and Lord of lords. But we just read that Jesus is King of kings and Lords of lords. We’re also told that God the Father is the only Ruler. But we’re told Jesus is the Ruler.
Rev. 1: 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

Rev. 3: 14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.

John 10: 30 I and the Father are one.
1 John 5: 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

We see that God exists in, has revealed himself in the persons of, the Father, and the Son. That’s the only explanation that makes sense from what we are reading from all the scriptures. Here in Revelation, we’re going to see God the Holy Spirit.
